Healing Journey

A comprehensive self-help course for healing maladaptive schemas and strengthening your healthy adult

A journey from recognizing wounds and inner obstacles to building a kinder, stronger relationship with yourself.

You may know something is off, that some reactions are too intense, that the past is not finished, or that self-criticism, perfectionism, and old patterns keep returning — yet knowing alone is not always enough to change.

Healing Journey is designed for the space between “I know there is a problem” and “I understand what is happening inside me and I am learning to respond differently.”

Maybe the issue is not only what happened to you...

Part of today’s pain can be what we learned long ago — retreating when afraid, attacking when hurt, blaming yourself when things feel out of control, or still feeling “not enough” when you succeed.

In this course, inner life is explored through protective, critical, child, wise, and nurturing parts that shape feelings, choices, and behavior.

The goal is not to fight yourself or build a “more perfect” version of you, but to notice what is active inside, why it activated, and how to respond more healthily.

What is Healing Journey?

An educational, self-reflective path that begins with where you are now and your direction in life, then moves through inner obstacles, wise and kind capacities, less self-blame, releasing the past, and building a more satisfying life.

Early on you review key life areas — relationships, work, learning, health, play, spirituality — to see where you stand and what needs attention.

Then the deeper question: “What is happening inside me?” — and the real journey begins.

Your journey map

  1. 1

    Insight and goals

Clarify where you are, what you want, and what matters to you.

  2. 2

    Releasing inner obstacles

Recognize protective reactions that once helped but now limit you.

  3. 3

    Rebuilding wisdom and capability

Strengthen the responsible, accepting, planning, active adult within.

  4. 4

    Freedom from perfectionism

Step back from constant “I must be better, more, flawless.”

  5. 5

    Growing self-esteem

Rebuild how you relate to yourself.

  6. 6

    Releasing blame and guilt

Meet the inner critic and learn healthier responses to mistakes.

  7. 7

    Releasing the past

See the past in today’s reactions and live more freely in the present.

  8. 8

    Building resilience

Face difficulty without collapse, escape, or endless self-war.

  9. 9

    A sound life plan

Turn awareness into daily choices and actions.

  10. 10

    Recovering confidence

Move from doubt toward experienced capability and action.

  11. 11

    Deeper wellbeing

Beyond momentary pleasure toward meaning and satisfaction.

  12. 12

    Inner peace

Stop defeating one part of yourself so another can be accepted.

More than information

The path includes cognitive exercises, self-observation, imagery, and skills practice — not theory alone.

You work with situations where protective parts activate, and with guided imagery on breath, body awareness, self-kindness, safe place, defusion, acceptance, and presence.

Change your relationship with emotions

Openness means learning to experience difficult feelings without being fully controlled by them — distinguishing tolerance, acceptance, welcoming, and holding your inner experience.

From “why me?” to “what can I do now?”

Healthy responsibility — not blame for the past — and the difference between protective reactions and wiser responses such as acceptance, planning, activity, and authority.

A kind inner voice

Self-kindness is not passivity or ignoring mistakes. The course distinguishes the nurturing part from collapse and self-indulgence, so you can support and guide yourself in hard moments.

Who is this course for?

If repeating patterns, a loud inner critic, perfectionism, guilt, low self-esteem, or the past in today’s choices bothers you — or you want structured, practical self-knowledge — this path may fit you well.

  • You notice repeating emotional or relational patterns
  • Self-criticism or perfectionism costs you a lot
  • You want the past to weigh less on today
  • You want practical schema-based self-help skills

After this course you can:

  • Understand yourself more clearly
  • Notice which inner part is active sooner
  • React less on autopilot
  • Fight yourself less
  • Take responsibility without humiliating yourself
  • Choose and act consciously where you used to react automatically
